You can get the replacements at B&O. If you're a little handy you can replace the failing surrounds yourself.

It's pretty obvious that the pin system created a lot of problems for B&O. Mounting databases to keep track of each item's location, owner and service dealers is a loosing battle to start with I'm afraid and never mind the hassle, time and phone calls needed if a component needs to be changed...... I am aware theft is an issue with B&O

[quote user="tournedos"] Oh yes, one very small difference that can be big if you plan on using the timer functions - the clock in 5000/5500 will not hold over power breaks. 6500/7000 have a real time clock chip with battery backup. I don't know if your link system is capable of MCL82 The later models (BM6500 and

[quote user="Judith"] Hello, I received three units of the iPod dock for B&O into the UK from Bosscom in Denmark and one of them didn't work at all and the other two exhibited error messages. All three were considered to be not fit for purpose and I would not recommend them. Bosscom advertises them as being "specially made to

Personally I think the 9500 is a very nice machine. A true classic B&O design worth saving imo. Though almost 20 years later it's obviously in need of some TLC. The glass panel can be glued down and cd player can be repaired. I suggest starting with cleaning the cd laser lens. Has worked on my cd player. Replacing the beocenter will be another
