Check the sound settings on the PS3?

Surely if B&O had the foresight to offer such a delicious device it would be 10 times the price and all detractors would be drooling over it - looks really exciting, MOTS appears useless, to me anyway.

Your Active box is no use whatsoever without ML, and even if you had ML it would be no use whatsoever for your intentions! You need to work out what the output is from your Pana and whether you would require a small pre-amp with preouts to drive your bl4000's.

This information is freely available on the STB website, wasn't that a good place to start?

Think you go to TV MENU SETUP and with TUNING highlighted you press left arrow (REWIND) left arrow (REWIND) then go

Hi, an interesting thread. What about this? Projector output and speakers set up as normal in ROOM 1 with SKY HD connected via HDMI to the BS3 In ROOM 2 connect, for example a BEOCENTER 6. Use the DISPLAY 1 output from the BS3 to connect to the BEOCENTER 6 via DVI - use either AV1 - AV3 if you have scart connected (for audio) or AV4 if using L/R phono

Each to their own really - some people buy Beolab 4's, some people wouldn't touch them with the proverbial bargepole. I wonder how many more forum users think the sound from the Avant is stupendous?
-
Personally, flying in the face of technical specs, my ears tell me that the Avant delivers a cracking sound, much warmer and more pleasing than the 375watt ICE amps of the Beolab 7-1/2. Power is more than adequate.

Hi Roger, the Beosystem 2 has nothing to do with the DVI output, it only processes audio i.e. the digital source drives the panel directly so when you press SAT for example (and you have say DECODER set to STB/DVI because it is processing audio only so it doesn't matter about the non-RGB input) the Panel switches to DVI input and the Beosystem 2
-
Yes this is correct - call it whatever they like but it is a standard Panasonic DVI card, put it into either slot 1 or 2 you just need to go into Plasma Version Setup and tell the Beosystem.
