Hello, The Beogram RX doesn't have the sloping front of Beomaster 2400, but the setup will play fine together. I would suggest a Beogram 2400-series instead, it is made for Beomaster 2400. Another cool setup from the "audio-range" could be Beomaster 3000(-2) and Beogram 1200, Beomaster 1400-1500 and Beogram 1900/1902 or a Beocenter instead

Beolink 1000 skal virke, den bruger samme koder som MCP7000 og Beolink 7000. Beo4 og Audio Terminal kan også bruges

I have a similar problem, almost cured it with a less used speed change relay (flip flop type) The speed regulators on the PCB and control panel could also be in need replacing.

Is it possible for other BeoWorlders living "nearby" to visit the muesem at the same time as the "chosen few"? Sure could be fun to actually meet some of you

The rebuilt MMC2 is with near-original spec nude contact line diamond on aluminium cantilever while the rebuilt MMC6000 is with a shibata-cut diamond on a sapphire cantilever. It wonders me, as the MMC6000 treble response is more attenuated, but more delicate sounding. VTF is 1,4 g for MMC2 and 1,3 g for MMC6000, both as described by Axel.

I am sure that the CD5500 is backwards compatible to the 5000 system, as the CD50 works fine with my Beosystem 5500. AFAIK, the same DataLink system is the same for CD50 and CD5500. -Søren

Chartz: The clicking sound can be annoying when playing classical music, it clicks a few times, when recording onto tape, it captures every missound made. It will distort generally more than my 8002 with rebuilt MMC2, on new records it distorts a little... Tracking weight is 1,4 g, which is what axel recommends for my MMC6000, measured with original
