  • Re: Beolink active stopped working - any ideas?

Process of ellimination I guess. Do you have a complete intact ML cable? If so can you try connecting one of the Actives to the BeoSound9000 using that straight ML cable? If that works, you could try the other two Actives. This will also enable you to determine if the original network of ML cable has faulty connection somewhere. Your local dealer should

DJ, I can't beleive you are still laying claim to that line after all these years ha ha. Of course we shouldn't overlook that over great urban myth of the TV that follows you as you walk around the living room How was Glasto? Didn't see your blue tent on the web cam but then to be absoluely honest, I forgot to look. Maybe next year. Opman

Keith If on average 10% of functions are omitted from user guides, think how much the average user is missing out on. From my experience, very few actually read the guide at all. Over the years the one of the most frequently asked questions must be "why does the red light flash on the BeoCom6000?" This is usually a rhetorical question as the

  • Re: BS9000 Scrolling Txt ??????

I bought a car from new about 6 years ago and have only recently discovered that there is a discreet storage device under the dashboard. I only saw it when after a recent service, the mechanic had to re-set the service counter and plugged his laptop device in under the dashboard. You just don't know what you don't know. I wonder how many other

  • Re: Any mathematicians out there?

If you toss a coin you have a 50/50 chance it will be heads. If you toss a coin ten times in a row and each times it falls tails, the eleventh time you toss it, it will still be 50/50 it will land heads. The law of probability would suggest that the greater number of consecutive results should mean that the following toss will bring a different result

  • Re: BeoVision7 40 Mark3 Multi region

My local dealer said that they were aware of a "special " Beo4 that could enter a code to make DVD players multi region but they weren't sure if it would work with a Mark3 BeoVision7 40". Does anybody know where this "special" Beo4 can be obtained? Opman

  • Re: BeoCom 6000 - Speaker problem

The main difference visually is that the MK2 handsets have the socket on top for the Earset connection. The menu structure is also different and the MK2 supports multiple entries in the phone book, but this is only if the handset is registered to the latest BeoLine base. If you have an older PSTN base, the MK2 handset is backwards compatible as long

  • Re: UK to phase out FM radio by 2015

It is misleading to say that FM will be phased out by 2015. The report states the BBC's intention to have a full digital platform by 2015. This will entail all BBC stations switching from FM to Digital. It is not even set in stone that it will DAB, as other platforms such as DAB+ DMB-A and DRM are also being considered. This will leave "Ultra

  • Re: B&O placement; fun for a change

In many episodes of Friends, you can see an Ouverture/Lab2500 system at the back of the apartment. Then in a plot line where Monica was dating a business mogul, his office was very well furnished with Bang & Olufsen, including BeoSound9000. Apologies if this duplicates any posts in the thread that Peter mentioned. I didn't see that thread. I
