Try it the other way round, that might work , if the plug will not fit the other unit then plug/pin problem ie pin alignment good luck! tony

Mr Stupid here , Just replaced the belts on this deck, all works fine apart from the head positioning system - the unit picks up the tape etc then sounds like sound thro cotton wool, gently moving the head rotational to the limit of its travel, then it works fine, the system does not seem to rotate the head far enough in either direction! Any helpful
