Flappo The Grate: yeah , philips are grate at inventing things - laserdisc and cd erc , but USELESS at making things i had a philips tv and it actually blew up and caught fire - utter garbage i'd rather sony or pioneer tbh b&o not bad in their fireworks too flappo my avant caught fire the set was less than seven years from brand new

hi barry i had b&o products for nearly 15 years but moved from some products to Nil ,was not convinced with b&o adaptation to digital age very slow and frustrating,seem to me they lost the plot

the writing was on the wall b&o handled the transition from the analog to digital badly imho

i had a 28 inch avant tv curved screen lasted for seven years from brand new!!in between had a speakers replaced due crackling ,some video issues but in the end blow-up and caught fire, wonder how many members had trouble with their set

very nice tv best picture i have seen,(b&o) retained their badge on this one tv imho,but for the price is steep for a tv after all!!!!!!1
