I don't know but this seems to be far too difficult to countenance. The Beo4 is used to control the stand and as you are probably aware the B&O IR codes are unique to B&O. Also, the stand on the Avant gets its signal from the IR reciever which is installed on the television and the way the television and stand communicate is via the scart

I think like with a PC you cannot just install a peripheral and expect it to work without installing software to communicate with it. The same is so with the Avant. The TV was configured to run with the cards already installed in it - not the ones you tried to put in. Thus you will need to upgrade the software in order for the new cards to work. I guess

I don't have/have not used the DVD2. However, check the basics. Have you pulled the power cable out of the back? Push it to see if it goes back in. This might be your problem - check the basics first.
