As the first evening is intended to be a "putting names to faces", informal affair, it will be "open house" from mid

  • Re: Sky HD & remote control problems

There are issues with the power saving facility SKY use, whereby your box turns itself off overnight. Also, the settings on the Bvis 7 for "follow TV", "Never", "after 30 minutes" etc can conflict with timer recordings on the hard drive and also with the scart control voltage ( if you still have scart connected - you could

  • Re: Why not Gold?

Lee, Have you considered emailing all the old-site registered members offering new Beoworld membership. I assume that you have the data ( via the old log in system ) I don't think there are any data protection issues, as you would simply be reminding previous subscribers to the site that it has changed. • Re: A question,if you have SKY,or live near Manchester

j0hnbarker: I'd come along to this and would be interested in the old vs. new kind of theme, but then I suppose that depends on how easy it would be (and how many others would be interested in) carting some of their stuff up to King Street. I love looking at older and newer B&O gear in the same place as you can really get a feel for the heritage

I agree with Peter - obviously, as a dealer I have a vested interested in people attending ths shop, but if you read the earlier thread, the intention is to simply allow BeoFans to meets in a venue with a common appeal - where better than a shop full of Beobits? We are central, there is loads of parking after 6pm, good public transport links. My thought

Chris/ Andy et al, Here is confirmation . We will gladly host the inaugural North West BeoMeet- format to be along the lines of the previous post, with a view to maybe bi-monthly or perhaps quarterly meetings to follow. A new thread with a poll / vote would be useful to gauge interest - but I don't know how to do that !! I agree about the dates

Right then.......we will be honoured/proud/pleased to be the occasional hosts for a North West BeoMeeting. Date and format TBC, venue will be here - I will probably arrange on an evening where there is also somewhere else to go later, should anyone wish ( likely to be a small jazz club I know nearby, world class musicians, nice and friendly, excellent
