Didn't go in to PcWorld to see the Tv's , went to get a cable but they got my attention . I might be one of people that tend to look only at B&o as I couldn't tell you the name of a another quality speaker . I know there is better out there but one remote " rings my bell " ( got to be a B&o remote ) , been waiting 3 years

What Blu-ray players are on the controllable list , my shop suggest the Sony BDP S1E , is this one on the list and the best to go with the Bv7-40 ? Richard

I've ordered a Bv7-40 . viewed one a couple of time and can't fault it . I know it's not the best picture , probably down the list a bit but was the easiest and less messy way to use my speakers and keep one remote . Going back to sets at PcWorld that were showing a stunning picture of Star Wars , I assumed it was HD but this film isn't

I thought B&o's boast was whatever's the best that's what we use , the bulk price difference between the two panels can't be much , got to be more to it than that . Richard

Makes you wonder why B&o went for the Lcd screen over Plasma in 7-40 , would appear to have solved a lot of picture issues . Richard

Most if not all Beo4 commands can be done , but has to be set-up to do so . I had mine set-up for two zones , Tv , sat , Dvd ect. in each , probably not necessary as one zones setting works the other , good if you need a link zone though . Love the pretty icons , makes surfing my favourite sat channels easy . Richard

The 4-42's another alternative , actually slightly smaller overall and most people seam to agree plasma has the edge but depends on what you read and where . How does it compare on price , doesn't mention the 4-42 + BeoSystem 3 in the BeoWorld prices ? Got to have the 7-4 as the centre speaker , a lot neater for my taste than the 7-1or 2 , don't

Opinion is certainly divided on this one , as good as the Bv3 is I think it's time to move on . I been debating if I should jump in or not for 3+ years and am missing out on hd .
