The main or root menu on a DVD comes on when first played on my DVD1 but after that I can't access it using BL1000. According to the instruction manual using Beo4 you need to press and hold the GO button to return to the menu. Pressing PLAY (BL1000 equivalent) nothing happens. Any help appreciated.

My newly aquired DVD1 can freeze when playing DVD+RW discs. The Sony RDRGX7 which made the recordings does not suffer from this problem. 'Proper' factory pressed DVD's are fine on the DVD1. This is all hugely annoying when making DVD copies of home videos. I copied much of my DV and Hi8 material onto DVD thinking it was robust and high quality

I have a DVD1 connected to an LX5500 but cannot access the S Video signal via Shift+9. I get a blank screen. Can anyone advise me of the reason for this? I have tried a Hi8 VCR also with S output and nothing from that also. The scart from the DVD1 is connected via an AVX-1 expander to AV2 and works fine

This change to a variety of different displays is surprising. I think B&O's use of red made for a more exclusive look. In a similar way BMW cars continue with a restful orange interior lighting. The best option would be a choice to enable new equipment to blend in with old, not difficult I suspect. I have a 17 year old Blaupunkt car radio with

Correct as usual Nick, That is exactly what I did. Beomaster 6000 has a similar socket "EXT" for the purpose. I will use the TV/AUX or TAPE 2 socket in future. Also correct it was an Ipod! Regards David

I pressed shift+radio for the line input. All works fine but now the system will not monitor other sources through the speakers. Pressing Atape for e.g and the tape starts but no sound. shift+radio (line input) is now the only source available. Help please. David

Thankyou very much for that Van, I now have a toolbar that I've never seen before! Regards, David
