Razlaw: Our 2 week old BV7 far surpasses the picture quality of any TV I have seen in any store. I had one person in the house, who did not come to see the tv, and he about jumped out iof his shoes when he saw the picture, could not believe how good it was, compared to his LCD. I am sorry, I do not understand why everybody likes to criticize B and O

Another point, regarding my own expereinces. I have 2 Laptops, in different locations connected wireless for some reason the router cant recognise the PC or vice versa. Then begins the game of shutting everything down in an attempt to get the connection up and running again- sometimes this works but on many occasions it doesnt. In the end the frustration

Razlaw: Yes, the reviews are one year old. What has changed about the BV7 since then? The only changes I am aware of our software which I assume, if anything, improved the TV. well its a question of what the competition has done in that time, look at new lcd from pioneer due in september, using state of theart sharp panel, 40" is about 2K

SecretSheep: Just heard two humans walking to the canteen talking about price rises in the UK. To keep up with the weak pound and inflation, prices really should have gone up over 9% - however, a price rise of 2% is all that will happen. Bjorn (PS - "Baa-aa-ah") How long will sales and profits have to collapse at B&O before they realise

akeithj: 355f - Thank you for the reply. I had a demonstration yesterday and thought both TV's were excellent, aside from the screen size I was wondering whether the price premium of the BV4 over the BV7 was justified. I was told that tha latest version of the BV 7 has the same BS 3 as the BV 4...decisions decisions. Difficult to say if the price

akeithj: Hi, Just curious to know from any owners of BV 4 what propmpted them to go for this TV rather than a BV 7 ? Well size for one thing- 50" as opposed to 40 is a big difference when it come to the movie experience. Colour rendition Exceptional performance with SD Skin tones and movement all way ahead of LCD as is depth of image

Peter : If it is as simple as changing a chip, you may be in luck. Not too hopeful though! I would strongly suggest writing to B&O themselves though. Let us know if you get a reply! Not just a chip change im afraid!

Jez: Doc: Jez: Why not just use a PS3, B&O software supports it, PS3 will up grade constantly through it's wireless network without even having to do anything. I'm using BV4 50"/BS3 with software 4.24 and a PS3 that just uploaded to 24fps and couldn't be happier. Jez, Your PS3 is uploaded to 24fps? Which sw-version is that (2.36
