I have a concern that this senario may cause problems and I would like to buy a beoport. Main room: BV7MKII, BS9000MKII with BG4500 connected to the aux port. Lots connected to the BV7 as well... Various equipemnt in link rooms. If I connect a beoport in the same room will I still be able to select the Turntable and play records? The Beo4 commands PHONO

Depends on your individual setup. If you have a BS9000 MKII or below it may need a software upgrade to recognise N.MUSIC.

Thanks for all the info... I do have a few B&O turntables with internal and external RIAA's so I'm ok with the phono amp side, line level side.. I have tossed out the idea of recording through the B&O system. I use the BS9000 aux port to play Vinyl already. The Pro-Ject box allowed connection to my laptop usb port though I am not sure

The recording process would be done (ideally) in a different area to the the BS9000. I may be able to do some juggling though... With the Turntable connected to the BS9000 (aus port) where would I connect the PC for recording? I have a BV7 and gear in other rooms as well... is the headphone socket good enough for recording?... Thanks Beoaus.

Anyone used this or could recommend something similar converting records to USB?... B&O Turntables have low volume levels so there maybe something more suitable. Thanks, Beoaus.

Dave, Give the service centre in Adelaide, (I'm not sure who is there now) a quick call. they should be able to help. Or try Luke in the Sydney service centre or Gavin or Paul in the Melbourne Service centre. You may need the serial numbers... Both on the Beolab 8000's (occasionally they are different) beoaus.

Interesting comment on the BG6000 Line level output.... All I would need is a cable and converter of some sort. After all the problems with the PC input cable I'm not sure about delving into creating cables again. Peter, Do you mean all 4 channels are separated in the DIN Cable? I thought the seperation was done in the Beomaster... I have a few

11048437: hi guys.... finally, I can confirm that the DIN cable for the PC input on the beolink active has : pin5 - right(left) in channel pin2 - left(right) in channel pin6 - ground regards.... Does that save me lifting the TV off the wall again?
