Looking to sell an immaculate Beovox Cona in black. This is a 100% mint example from my own personal collection. Was purchased in 2006 from Lifestyle AV, so has good provenance. Has had light usage over the years. Photos available on request, but trust me this example is as good as you will find. Recently an average black Cona sold on UK eBay for £199

Nope. The values of non-functioning items such as this tend to reflect the costs of restoration. A faulty 6000 will probably cost the same to repair as a 4002, as essentially they are the same machine but with the CD4 demodulator board under the control panel. I don't agree that a fully functioning 6000 would be worth that much more than a fully

I fitted a new dial lamp to my Beomaster 1000 last night, and whilst I had it off the shelf and away from the CX50s I normally use it with, I connected it to the MC120.2s I usually use with my Beomaster 6000 Quad. It sounded good - a real surprise as Richard says. Can't see me using it with my Beovox Pentas though! The Beomaster 8000 is much better

The OP asked about using an external amp for the Beovox versions. I recently posted my musings on this issue with regards to using a 60/70s

I was tempted by this too when I saw it a couple of days ago. The irony that I would need to get a diagnostic piece of equipment repaired though wasn't lost on me, so I think I'll leave it :)

They are excellent speakers. I myself have some of the later MC120.2s. There's a pair on German eBay at the moment, though I think they need refoaming. Not a difficult job and these don't come up that often.
As Soundproof says, new cartridges are available or you can get the old one repaired (which is what I would do!)
Does he?

Hi Jon Interestingly, the most desirable and valuable component you have inherited is the Beogram 6000. B&O Kingston clearly don't know their *** from their elbow, as new cartridges are available after B&O licenced the manufacturing to a company called Soundsmith in the US. There are a couple of UK-based guys who could help, as well as some
