The main difference is the it uses a serial port to connect with the PC rather than a USB socket.

On some TV you need to use a specific AV socket. On some TV you also need to specify in the menu that a Beomedia is attached to it. Make sure you remove the configuration for the PC key, and

Yes, Chris has contacted me. I am still working on it, but things are slower than I would like at the moment, as I do not have enough spare time. I have been working on other projects (see signature) that took me longer than I thought, one of them free for all beoworlders. Anyway I am gonna have more time on LinkPlayer from now. p.

I suppose the BV4 supports the PC command. In that case you should opt for controlling LinkPlayer using the PC source, via Masterlink. You'll get a much better control than through PUC. Make sure LinkPlayer is started the first time you configure the PC source on your TV. P.

In the presentation, they said it will require subscription. I am not sure if it mean you have to pay, or just to register. For Beoport, you have to register to get radios, but registration is free. If it is true, it is ridiculous again to buy something for this price and then have top pay extra for the App or for listening to N.RADIOs that broadcast

Airplay for audio is the same as the old AirTunes. It's been there for a few years now and its specs are stable.

I think they were not even aware of AirPlay until it was announced by Apple a few weeks ago.
