Very nice Nokia, however to me the message is "look, I have a nokia Aston Martin, I'll never afford the car but I have the logo in my phone". Most owners of Serene also own B&O stuff, although not every B&O lover will like serene. That's clear. I have a Serene and an earset 2 and what I like of it is that I have never seen

Some how I don't think the new BV7 will be available by the end of summer and that we will have to wait until beginning of 2008... In any case I'm waiting on the new model (40") to buy it. I'm sure I won't be able to distinguish the difference in definition, but some HDMI ports will make it more future proof. I hope the price jump

Rombeek: Gustavo, New 40" is not only about size, but also about extra inputs like HDMI? So also the 32" will need the new panel with extra inputs! Agree with you Rombeek. It would be disapointing not to have at least 2 HDMI sockets in BV brand new chassis. My salesman told me today that the new BV7 has no certain date to arrive, and that

DVD players will be usable for years to come, definitely. The massive production of HD DVD's on either standard will have to hold on until there are enough players that justify the roll out. I don't think the BV7 upgrade will include a non standard DVD. B&O is slower when it comes to jump to last generation stuff, they will think it twice

I can't compete agains those recent purchases... BL5 are a dream to me at this point. My recent purchases, a black MX4000 in excellent condition (dated 1991!). And a BV3 with Dolby surround module (my second BV3) along with DVD1 and V8000 both in mint condition. Next: BLX, can't yet define whether the X will be 3 or 9. Depends on the outcome

Great post. I only go for original CD's, the same way I always bought vinil albums rather than recording them on tapes. When I bought my BS9000 back in 2001 this philosofy was even more enphasized. I cannot bear the sight of a non-original CD through the immaculate cristal of the BS. So my ears are only used to CDs. I really enjoy the act of openning

jk1002: >>The Doors 5.1 version from perception album. On a Beosound 9000, with BL3 at front and BL6000 at rear. A voice can't get any deeper than Jim Morrison's in that song<< Do you mean 5.1 Surround? How does this work with a BS9000? Or is it just stereo on 4 speaker? This is remastered in 5.1 in audio-only DVD's. You need

My wife is so jealous about my serene that I'll have to either buy her a new one or give mine to her. It's just perfect for a lady: sexy, appealing, and she will only use it to make and receive calls.

This has to be the only post with only gold members posting notes. We are all anxious, even if the draw is moved to the end of May. Good luck!
