Having loaded BeoPort 5.00 this morning, it looks from the quite extensive Beoport Manual (extensive for B&O that is), that there appears to be only 4 “coloured” playlists which can be accessed directly from your remote using the coloured buttons. It does however appear that you can have any number of ordinary playlists which you can

Suggest programming the Beo4/Beo5 for both repeat and random. 10%

I think there are two factors in play here at present. First, if you use your BM5/BS5 "correctly" and have it communicate with the B&O server and only approved N.Radio channels as designed, then I see the risk as very very small indeed. If your going to be unwise and use your BM5 for surfing the web, then after 5 years your simply asking

Rob, Feel for you and to state that you are in my opinion sound doing all the right things. This whole "fit-for-purpose" thing is something we should all look at when we have unsatisfactory goods and demand changes. One simple question:- You are viewing a BV7-40 correct? From what approximate distance from your eye to the plane of the screen

Moxxey, Sarcasm aside, you have made a disagreement to my post based on sound quality. There is no one I would think who would disagree with you that as the BL4 is in terms of technical specification, price point and for most people, actual sound performance is a significantly lesser model to that of the BL7.2. However, that was clearly not my point

moxxey: I disagree. I don't think a pair of BL4's would offer an excellent audio experience without a centre speaker. Also, the BV7 doesn't look right without the 7.4 or 7.2. A while back I had my BV7-32 with just the BL6000s connected (7.1 was back for repair) and the sound was terrible. Just didn't sound right - poor version of the

I think they would try to convince a first-time purchaser to get a couple of BL4's with the TV (..and I bet a few dealers give them away if it clinches a deal). This could be followed by either an audio system and/or a better pair of loudspeakers. Utlimately, the purchaser starts to buy into the B&O A/V system, pushing the 4's to the rear

I think the benefit of the SPDif is only really apparent when using the BL5 loudspeaker system. It may be technically superior to use SPDif in a wholly analogue system but how/where DAC occurs is beyond my knowledge. Also, the BV7 does not output digital sound but uses Powerlink system solely for that purpose. The BV7 can allow the input of four 2 or

I think it will work it's self out in the next couple of months. I dont think the UK economy is as bad as the Pound would suggest (in context to the global crunch). No. I'm sure those tw.ts in red braces are kicking the currency from one end of the field to the other (and back again) to make a buck at our expense. . However, think about it.

As I have indicated before, dropping the DVD option for both the 32 and 40 inch models effectively allows B&O to drop the BV/BC6 range cutting inventories and production capacity without drastically changing the range. It is of course more expensive for the basics but would be seen as "added value" given the move from 26" to 32"
