IIRC BeoLab 8000 uses rubber and not foam. So no foam rot there...

wtlc2zpx: I remember we were given a hint that it will be two way during the meal in Struer. But the specifications of the Beo5 are on the B&O site... and I would find it strange that they publish incomplete/false specs. I however would love the remote to be 2 way! But I prefer not to convince myself that it will be and then be disappointed. p.

I am sure that I read some where that the Beo5 had some sort of inbuilt radio or WiFi communication port. Also we were given a hint that the future would incorporate 2 way. Are you CERTAIN that the Beo5 only has 1 way IR?

wtlc2zpx: jk1002: Reading some more in the french forum, it seems information about the BS5 and a 2 way remote is still vague - nothing was shown it seems. So we have to hold our thumbs. The Beo5 does not have the hardware to do 2 way... so we need to forget about it unfortunately. What I would suggest to B&O is to put a USB socket on the Beomaster5

Forgot to say, that you can and should press the same sequence, so that the Beo 4 is out of link mode.

I am assuming you have a Beolink 1000 remote. You must press GOTO and then the desired frequency. Press STORE number STORE to store the frequency as program number X.
