Well, it looks like a flute (the type used in orchestral music, not on a football field). The main button is at the bottom end of it. For operation it has some square-shaped "buttons". It can be programmed to send IR commands: If you want to wake up to the radio, it will simply send the IR command for Radio (so you do not need to set a wake

As Trips said, it is quite obvious when you look at it - it sits as a backpack on the BV9. If in doubt ask your dealer, some of them were not aware of the fact that initially you had to deactivate the PIN code before uploading new S/W to the BS3 box - and it freezed. Only solution was to hook off the BS3 box and return it to B&O (or a skilled tech

Please note that BeoPlayer v.5.0 is intended for setups with the BeoMaster 5 only. B&O will continued to issue updates and support for the "old" BeoPlayer S/W, and currently v.4.83 should be used by all other setups. Roger

Breaking News: B&O introduserer BeoVision 7-40 Monitor (dvs uten DVD)

The general challenge is this: B&O decided that a key ingredient in a movie setup is a TV and as a consequence they decided to include the surround module in the telly. If you do not have a B&O telly then you will have to connect your BC2 S/PDIF-output to your amplifier for sound and use the scart/s-vhs output to your 3. party telly. Roger
Based on recent history, I don't think you want an open door for Bang & Olufsen software to find a way onto your TV!
B&O have decided that future (high-end only?) BeoVision's shall be able to connect to the internet to receive S/W updates. DTS-HD: BS3 works fine today as long as you have

Where to get the information: Drop by any dealer and ask them to pull it up on BeoWise. Your dealer may contact Support for further info. Roger

The main issue now is the fact that they moved all the graphics handling from the main board to a dedicated video board - a totally new S/W design. So the plan to have the same S/W for both BM1 and BM5 had to be dropped. Roger

In the main menu (N.MUSIC/N.RADIO/PHOTO/WEB) press the red button on the Beo4 followed by "9". In the customer service menu press the usual "0" "0" "GO", you will now see some additional menu options. Under one of these you tick off the option to show the "service menu" (=the ordinary windows desktop
