Through experience, it's only the 1994/95 drivers which are cracking. I assume your pair are that kind of age? I think 15 years or more is fair use! - but as time goes on and materials improve, the next set will probably last 20-25 years.. by which time you probably won't own them! I'd recommend going out and buying some beer, then drinking

In the 15 years I've been dealing with B&O, spanning literally thousands of purchases - I've never once come across an item advertised that seemed too good to be true and actually existed. Bargains do happen - that's true enough, but if something is advertised at a stupidly low price, it's designed purely to play on a natural human

Not at all unfortunately. We sell Avants on ebay like this for £95 now - and they don't always find buyers at that. CRT's are very sadly 'out of fashion' as a lounge TV. It's flatscreen or nothing - even if quality suffers. I'd put it down to fashion. Not always practical, not always fit for purpose - but fashionable, so

You have a choice of either active or passive speakers with the BeoSystem 7000.. so take your pick! What is your budget is the first question. Secondly (and just as important), what kind of music do you listen to - and at what volumes? Once we have that info, the suggestions will come flooding in!

I assume you've got them set to 'Line' ? If you switch them to 'L' or 'R' does the buzzing stop? Lee
