Until I got a PC2/Beoport I had the same problem. How to connect a lead from my PC and my Turntable to my BS3000. What I did was get a CD/Tape adaptor. This was a small black box made by B&O. It has a Din connection which will go tou your BS9000. There is a DIN connection in for the Tape connection and RCA connections for the CD. To change sources

Why I have not seen one of the Bose Waveguide systems in the flesh, I have seen some of their Lifestyle range. As there used to be a Bose dealer close to where I work. To be honest I was not impressed, they seem to be very cheap looking. Maybe due to the fact they are all Plastic on the outside. maybe I am a bit biased but they are no comparison to
