There is no provision for adjusting belt tension in any Beogram. A too loose belt will have to be replaced and a too tight belt will put a too high pull on the motor holding bracket and it's rubber grommets, sometimes even destroying the grommets. The lifting mech has seized in the lowered position, that's very common. Do a search on the forum and you will find threads indicating a point to lubricate. Maybe your search should be for Beogram (2200/2400 or similar) rather than Beocenter, the problem is the same. Martin

I am not sure what that "secondary supply kit" contains but 6 hours work sound a lot. Still, it doesn't sound expensive for 6 hours work. If the repair cost is acceptable is for you to decide. I've seen nice working BM3000's sell for much more than that. Martin
