  • Re: The end of a Beocord 5000

The BC5500 is an autoreverse deck. Very practical but not as good a deck as the 5000. Time, well that's nothing we can help you with, I'm afraid. Smoke smell; If it's nicotine it's tough to get rid of and it will take time but it's not impossible. If it's the smell of burned electronics, it's probably in the power supply

  • Re: RL60 enheder søges

Thanks, they look fine. However, I would prefer buying just the drivers to fix a couple of pairs, I have here. Besides, shipping and customs will make these quite expensive for me. The price is fine if you're local, though. Martin

  • RL60 enheder søges

Jeg søger fungerende enheder til Beovox Redline RL60. Umiddelbart mangler jeg 2 bas-enheder og 2 diskanter. Evt. et helt par RL60. Martin

  • Re: The end of a Beocord 5000

I agree, it's one of the best B&O cassettedecks. The belt mess will clean off using IPA (IsoPropyl Alcohol = tapehead cleaner = carburettor alcohol), cotton buds and patience. With regards to fixing it, you're already halfway. As already mentioned, I can supply new belts and mounting instructions. Martin

  • Re: Strange behavior Beomaster 1900-2

It is correct that the volume control is optical with a miniature bulb and LDR resistors sitting inside a sealed housing on the main board. There's one housing, one lamp and 4 LDR resistors. Two LDR's handle the volume, the other two handles loudness. (Balance control is a sliding potentiometer under the large aluminum lid.) If the bulb inside

  • Re: BEOMASTER 900K

Welcome to Beoworld ! Yes, you're right, this is a Beomaster 900K in the version with flush grey front. A version with black front, protruding from the wooden frame, also exists and both versions were made with (900K) and without built-in speakers (900M). Versions with built-in turntable were also available (Beomaster 900RG). The Beomaster 900 is

  • Re: Value of Beovox 2600s

Welcome to Beoworld ! Basically, I agree with Peter. Still together with f.e. a Beomaster 900 or 1000 they would make a great and well sounding vintage system. Martin

  • Re: Beomaster 1900 Toasted

I find them generally available and always have most of the values in stock. Reichelt in Germany can supply both 220 and 250 ohms, both Piher I believe and both will work fine in the BM1900. Martin
