dark... i think it will help anchor the room -a beautiful room, BTW! your bl8000 / bl5 will appear to emerge from the floor and the cables will not be as obvious. i wouldn't worry about it making the room look small -the arched windows seem to counter this!

has there ever been a single one of this style of beograms where the tape has not failed? you might try a high quality double-sided "servo" style tape... 3m makes some good products. i would suggest playing around w/ perhaps some card stock stacked like shims to get the thickness right, 'cuz once that stuff is stuck down -good luck! hobby
