depends on condition (obviously) functional for 600 - 1000+ usd i know that is a big range, but i have seen them all over the place... i saw a flawless pair go for 750 -wish i would have bought them!

can't comment on the ceiling, but with a gorgeous, "historical" looking room like that... i would go for the real wood, and not worry about upkeep. you clearly keep it neat and clean. i think you would regret not going for the real... i am actually looking into a similar project and i think that distressed woods would be fantastic in you

i agree w/ andy. i have had both and they are bullet-proof! i still prefer the 1100 to the 1200. in the states, 100 - 150usd averages... setup can initially be akward, but once set... no problema!

i like #4 (w/ the 2 potted plants) darkest one, but i think it would be a real knock out in that room! maybe do a little photoshopping!
