happy bday! <=2 words! HA!, have fun andy!

i made a vow not to comment on beo-tv threads anymore... but the concept of a dvr (built in or otherwise) is the greatest thing in human history since the wheel.
-
i was wrong (don't tell the wife)... mine seems to be the inverse of yours... darkish-blueish patches on red areas. only happens as mentioned before -nothing as dramatic as yours!
-
the pic is worth a thousand words... believe it or not, i occasionally have seen something similar... on my avant! not very often and not nearly to the same extent as yours, and it seems predominantly to happen w/ local news shots w/ solid color areas framing "live action" and sometimes in the "live action" shot as well... just like

all, have been moving some goods off at a pretty good clip... have an update re: specific items 1.) i have for sale the following bl6000's... pearly red w/ red frets (maroon color) they are in good condition. small mark on top of one, and a small thread pull on one fret. bases have light scuffs, otherwise excellent, and perfect electrically/sonically

just a very generic reply regarding the curtain during on and off... i did not see what remote you were using. -and i am not using the same gear. i had a similar issue and programmed the tv to turn on "last" and turn off "first" during startup and shutdown respectively including a pause between commands... regaining the curtain effect
-
one other quick thought... i believe the typical mcl ir receiver is common to this kit. so, you should be able to source one in white to match your goods!
-
friedmett, it looks to me like you have a winner there -sure looks like it to me too! as i recall, there is some boardwork to be done on the 6000/8000 for the kit... glad to see you may have found your holy grail at a pretty good price!
-
i did some research on the beo4 in gold pic i posted yesterday... it is not b&o, but goldstriker they also did/do a beocom4...
I use mine for watching Hulu and my own videos, I installed boxee.tv on it which is sort of perfect for me.
then this article may be of interest to you... starting tomorrow boxee is apparently dropping hulu support
