Although I've already stated my first impressions of the stand I have to agree that the Beo4 is likely to be around for as long as the BL1000 has been - 20 years and counting. So the market is likely to be there IMHO for this and other designs to suit differing tastes. Chris.

joeyboygolf: Alex: joeyboygolf: there aren't many of us proper audiophiles on this forum! I agree - not enough Penta owners! Don't forget Alex, I've got both but I keep selling the Penta's. What does that tell you? Degeneration of the ossicle chain Graham Chris.

I agree - half a Kilo of chromed brass doesn't quite do it for me I'm afraid The concept is OK though. Chris.

A warm welcome to Beoworld on behalf of the team to all new members who signed up at the Polo event. Also a huge thank you to Henry for showing fantastic initiative and all the obvious hard work which went into this promotion. Chris.
-
I agree with Henry - I cannot see why a good solid constructed unit would make any more difference than a wooden floor, which is after all merely a flat enclosed box construction when you think about it Chris.

PAJ: Yes you do Chris. I cetainly did not initiate it! I'm a bit concerned as to why this was collected then as the connoisseurs club no longer exists. I'd certainly get in touch with Paypal if you don't get a reply. You may need to wait 10 days as per their policy but make sure you do so within 30 days or you automatically lose your right
-
I'm not entirely sure if it's possible but you may be able to cancel this funds transfer before the recipient claims it. Worth a try. This site has no ties at all with the old beoworld connoisseurs club and as you are a gold member you have automatic access to all of the manuals that were available on there from the main page of this site. There are mounting brackets for CX50's/100's but in reality they are nothing more than glorified hook affairs which hook into holes in the back of the speakers. A decent flat head screw will do the job just as well as long as it is nice and secure. Chris.
-
Michael's correct, the only real way would be to mount them on some sort of shelf. Chris.
-
The CX wall brackets won't allow you to mount them horzontally as they are nothing more than a hook that fits in the hole in the back. Chris.
