  • Re: Beogram 8002 arm indexing

You can adjust this by losening and relocating the switch under the black metal cover. In your case it will have to be moved a little to the right. Martin

Martin

  • Re: Value of a BeoGram 8000

A white Beogram 8000 is quite rare, wonderful piece ! The fact that it's white (presuming it's original, it looks to be) could increase its value. The tachodisc sits around the platter spindle, about halfway down the height of it. Just not visible in the photo, the black subplatter covers what would have been the lit side of it, the rest is

ALWAYS ship Beogram's without the platter. Pack the platter separately and put it under the Beogram in the box. A few of the older models are exceptions

  • Re: Beogram 8000 platter compatability

They are not the same. A platter from a Beogram 6006 will be the only alternative since it's basically the same deck as the 8000. Martin

  • Re: BM 2400 upgrades

Welcome to Beoworld ! And thanks for joining as a silver member, your support is greatly appreciated. The basic idea and initial goal of the Beomaster 1900/2400 was that of having a good quality radio in a wonderful design that was never seen before and would fit in anywhere. It was never designed to be an audiophile machine - and it never will be unless

  • Re: what is this vintage b&o product?

Welcome to Beoworld ! Definitely a Beomaster 1001 (as would also be readable on the top surface) and I agree it's worth fixing. Is it white or light oak ? The part that is taped to the top is the front part of the large slider. It should have three little fingerwheels and two nylon slider parts (these are often found stuck in dust in the groove
