A white Beogram 8000 is quite rare, wonderful piece ! The fact that it's white (presuming it's original, it looks to be) could increase its value. I agree. - Or the subplatter has been deformed. That happens very easily if the Beogram was shipped with the platter mounted. The result is a wobbly platter, wobbling up and down as it rotates. ALWAYS ship Beogram's without the platter. Pack the platter separately and put it under the Beogram in the box. A few of the older models are exceptions

They are not the same. A platter from a Beogram 6006 will be the only alternative since it's basically the same deck as the 8000. Martin
