Ah - maybe there's some life left in me yet then Craig? Chris.
-
Well if anyone knows about this then you're the man Graham. I was really only adding some spurious recollections which my aging & coddled old grey matter retrieved from the former beoworld threads on these brackets. Chris.

Looks like somone else has designed a bracket then - nice one Paul. The one that I once owned was much more substantial than this version as it was made from good quality sheet steel and required the removal of 3 screws form the front of the beocenter to attach it in situ. A real nightmare to do by myself as the beocenters are very heavy and not the

Henry: Chris check mated that one! Not my intention Henry, merely pointing out the economics and benefits of gold membership. I have to add that if the next prize draw night is half as exciting as the last one then £30 is well worth it for the entertainment value alone. It certainly beats sitting there flicking through 700 satellite channels trying

joeyboygolf: Could be broken connection within the plug. Can you dismantle it and check the solders? Other than communication, is the sound level from the deck OK? You could be plugged into AUX or TAPE2 instead of PHONO! Beat me to it Graham. If it worked before then this is the most likely explaination. It's a few years since I sold my Beocenter

I may have a solenoid if that turns out to be the problem (no promises but I've all sorts of bits laying around in my garage). Hopefully it is just the mechanism which needs a strip & lube but keep us informed and I'm sure this excellent deck will be up and running soon Chris.

simon32ol: Also on another toopic is there a link on this site to tell which model beolink is which, it gets very confusing especially with the 1000 beolinks. Can't help you with th LS question but the beolinks were produced in 2 formats. The MK1 & 2 doesn't have a "light" button on the top middle row like the Mk3's onwards
-
There was an after market non-B&O bracket produced for these by someone on the continent. It sat the beocenters at a 35 degree angle from the wall. Not available any more though. Chris.

P9000: How do you enter the drawing if you are bronze? As alreadt stated, gold membership gives automatic entry for every monthly draw as long as your membership is valid. However it is also recognised that £30 membership isn't always an option for some people and as a bronze member you are valued just as highly as any other member of Beoworld

A friend of mine has my design for a nice brushed stainless steel stand (2 models, Beo4 & BL1000) with a view to making some but that was about 18 months ago. Maybe it's time I took him for a drink and got it sorted out Chris.
