You need to listen to them. I prefer BL3s to 8000s in sound though the 8000s are very beautiful. However they are both of their era: the 8000s are softer sounding and actually have less bass in some ways though greater bass extension. The 3s are quite analytical and some would describe this as bright and a bit fatiguing. It all depends on what sort

It works! And I was wrong - all the remote functions seem to work as well.

If you are not using a record player, then attach the Beogram CD to that input. It should work though you will only get basic functions as it will behave like a Beogram, I think! I'll go and try!

No problems except that remote control won't work for the second CD player - the CD expects to be referred to as a Beogram, not a Beocord. All sources to the Beomaster 7000 use line level.

The 7-32, 8-40 and 6-26 share a more basic chassis than the 7-40.

The cable structure can be found in the ML handbook . The pink cables are the +ve supply voltage, the blue and white is referred to as ML-sense and the silver wires are shields.

It is a BC6 with the radio removed! Optional extras include a Digital Surround Sound module (which is a factory fit option) and the afore mentioned DVB-HD module (this can be fitted later but is cheaper to get supplied with the set). It shares the same chassis as the BV7-32 and BV8-40.

This is a common problem as the grease and oil in the motor hardens with age and the motor seizes. The problem is that they are all like this!
