Beolab: Note: My dealer called me today and said that my new MK III Dark Grey will arrive in two weeks!! Sadly not in the UK - my dealer says that they have still heard November/December for the UK launch of the BV7-40 MKIII. I still wonder what they're planning for the BV7-32 though.

Bulgarien: I think that is the new american version he have tested - It difficult to test europe version ,when its not are avaible.. I don't think so...as he mentions the DVI input and 768 vertical resolution.

kuliand: Does anyone know when the 2007/2008 catalogue is due out? A quick search using keywords such as 'catalogue' would have the answer. I think someone posted 12th of October on here, recently.

jk1002: They would have to do something about the current chassis. That is too far behind. At the same time, I think the 32" inch can not get the BS3 simply because of pricing. I think you could be right. I guess we'll know as soon as the new catalogue is released - that contains the specs of their 2007/2008 models, which will have to list

hagan: When is the new beovision 7-32 and 40 due to release? My assumption is that it will be featured/detailed in the forthcoming 2007/2008 catalogue, available in October, so November? November was the date originally given to me by my local dealer and would probably make a lot of sense - people will want to order the product detailed in the catalogue

Last week I asked my local (UK) dealer if there was any news on the BV7-40 MKIII and they said 'no, no news, and you'll be the first to hear when we receive some news'. Didn't sound too happy about the situation. I was under the impression that they were a bit fed up of talking about the possibility to customers, accepting pre-orders

Beolab: I plug it in with the HDMI cable to my friends Samsung 40" full HD and sough immediately that the picture had many artifacts and pixel damages and more and more. The Bv 7 picture are far more smooth and more natural than any other LCD i have seined .. A little bit dark but i can live with that.. Definitely. I watched the Formula 1 on ITV

As I've mentioned before, a member of my family has a brand new Samsung 32" LCD. The picture quality is terrible, despite the panel being an updated version of the panel in my old MK1 BV7-32. Why? It's all to do with the incoming source and the picture processing behind the panel. Even my local Samsung dealer (Moss of Bath) admitted that

AFAIR, no. It's still 8ms. Contrast ratio is higher. It's definitely an updated panel though as it's 1080p, compared to the current 768 screen. If you go to www.bang-olufsen.com, select United States as your country, you can see the specs of the new BV7-40 online. Here is the PDF: http://www.bang-olufsen.com/UserFiles/File/Products/Technical

If I can remember correctly, the previous two catalogues were previewed in August and were available in September? There were images up on the media portal at the end of August 2006. Any news on the forthcoming catalogue refresh? Has it been delayed or imminent?
