Having spent the best part of a year trying to track down some stands for my two pairs of S45.2s, I am now tempted to try a pair of stands for S75s. I'm pretty confident the locating holes etc are the same and the service manual on this site shows the instructions for putting them together as identical. I know that there may be some visual imbalance

I couldn't agree more. He ahs been extremely helpful to me in trying to overcome a speed problem with my BG4004, as well as providing me with various capacitors, belts, lamps etc. On one occasion he got an order very slightly wrong, dealt with the problem and gave me a cash refund as compensation! He is so helpful and so knowledgable that I would
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Cleve. I received the remote in the post and all I have to do now is try and get a suitable battery and botch job to make it fit to try it out. Many thanks again. GUY
Guy, Here's a link to a company in London that sell suitable batteries http://www.smallbattery.company

Simon, Spooky - my second pair have been usurped (temporarily) by CX100s for space reasons as well. (Space reasons is code for partner not wanting speakers in the 'middle of the room where I can trip over them' - huge inaccuracy of course, but domestic harmony must be pursued) I need a shed! Cleve

Simon, I haven't seen them at all! Don't know how I missed the Lifestyle AV ones - I normally keep an eye on what Lee has to offer. Does this mean that the next time a pair come up for auction we may be competing? Bit worried, as I actually have two pairs needing stands. We could change the market value of these at a stroke!
The stands from the later S-series look similar but none of them are of the correct height. Martin
Thanks Martin, I think Peter had made a similar point on another thread. Although the locating holes on the back allow a number of different stands to fit, they all are a little too tall and it seems unbalanced

I am just finishing refurbishing a pair of S45.2s in Rosewood. Cabinet work is done and they look terrific, and I have a capacitor kit from Martin and a new soldering iron! All I really need now to complete the job is a pair of stands - type 6013. Anyone have a pair they would like to sell, if necessary attached to a pair of speakers? I'm in Exeter
I have decided the best bet is to sell them on to someone who appreciates them, but i have no idea where is the best place to do this. Any advice on this would be much appreciated
Hi, This is certainly the site for 'someone who appreciates them'. There is a section for selling equipment and you would
Remote control for a BM2400
Hi, I have one - never used it and there is no battery. Cosmetically its OK - faded script etc but you are welcome to it - send me a PM. Oh, and apologies for getting my 'seller' and 'buyer' confused in the previous response to Chris. Cleve
There's a rather nice looking MC20/30/40 cabinet for sale on ebay UK at the minute but unfortunately (or possibly not) it is part of a whole system. May be worth emailling the seller though and ask if he'll sell it seperately. Just tell him that most sellers struggle to give these cabinets away and you be in
