TripEnglish: No, if you can alter the contrast to fix it, then it would not likely be an electrical issue. That is quite strange. However, at least here in the US, we have a quick and painless process to replace defective products. Even if this process needs to occur more than once, your dealer is not finished until you have a working panel. It really

TripEnglish: Moxxey, You and I are on the same side of many issues, but as a retailer I have to say that the software issues are more an issue with the dealers than the televisions. Any issues we have here with the software jump and the resulting "bugs" can be temporarily solved by reverting to the previous version. Once the fix is in place

timhanna: I see... well its definitely not possible to keep quiet about it... If you dont live far from the dealer, just ask them to take your TV back and test it in store... make sure that ou go over too and test it... just to prove that its nothing in your house doing it... if it still happens, ask them to put the same settings as you have at home

Doc: Aware and denying Great title for a new James Bond Hehe, like i said, i bet they know something is wrong, but they will not make a public statement, it would do more damage than good. However, it would be nice to have some sort of feedback from B&O regarding this issue. /Weebyx

timhanna: Weebyx, keep the BV7. Your dealer is clever and playing a familiar trick. This B&O or no B&O... tell him: "A working TV or my money back plus petrol" I had a similar issue, had a problem with a caged item, my dealer said, I dont want to sell you another caged item... Anyway, hes giving you a 'good' trade in price

seanklemis: *bump* any news ??? Nope ! /Weebyx

seanklemis: hi there i dont think i was so rude just pointed out the facts to them i have been informed by a dealer that the bv7 is on hold or being suspended from delivery. No, i dont think you were rude, but sometimes people tend to rise as the frustrations rise :) It is very very interresting if the BV7 is set on hold, can someone else verify this
