Dependent on how old it is, the silver foil membrane under the keypad on early models required replacement, often leading people to believe their Beosound 3 had died. 3 weeks charge is a bit excessive but should be ok.

Ensure the DVB-T box has output set to 16:9?

To be fair, the equipment you need is also available from morethanAV and IconicAV as well as a plethora of EBAY sellers - I have used both companies without problem.

Simon, I am pretty sure you may have thought of it already, but from an installation p.o.v. make sure you run cables you may think you don't think you need - IR Blasters, HDMI's, Digital Out etc. etc. if you are channelling the wall specially, or certainly allow to pull cables through in the future!

Topfield 5810 if you have the DVI slot spare, otherwise Topfield 5800

I had the same problem with some BL8000's recently, could have sworn it was the speakers but on testing with different PL cables it was down to the cable only - suspected the switch, that was my next port of call.

Hi Hans, check the panel variant - is it a D9 or a D10 - I guess you are not in the UK but 14% discount is laughable IMHO.

It is unlikely B&O will give you any information, the Beosystem 2/scaler cards is a red herring. It is simply a DVI card into the Panel and a Sw update for the BS2, type 9413+.

I thought it was 4 wires :)
