I think simon was talking about the cost to upgrade and not to tradein? Even 600GBP would be pushing it to replace the panel.

Question! Why are the BL1 "cheap" when compared to BL3s for example? Used BL3 = 1600, Used BL1 = 2200. Approx figures here, but around 600GBP isn't a huge difference for the speakers you get?

How about attaching the BM1 to the BV7 in the lounge, and every time i want to interact with the BM1 via the BV1, I turn the BM1 from the lounge and then walk to the bedroom. Would this turn the BV7 on as well, rather needlessly? Tim
