I can't help wondering what the future of BV7-32 will be, it hasn't been updated for ages and now the picture quality is certainly going to be much superior on the BV10-32, not to mention the connections and full HD capacity. Since the built-in DVD player doesn't play BluRay nor can record anything, it looks like BV7 family will soon have

Maybe the sound performance will be great, but the stereo perspective will be quite poor, probably similar to a BeoSound 1/BeoLab 2000 , given the sketches already found on the net. I would have preferred an updated BeoLab 3500 with an Ipod dock on top of the present display, this design would have allowed better stereo; besides, the Ipod dock market

If B&O talks about an interface for Apple and not Ipod or Itunes, then it leads to believe that the app will be for the computer, not the audio player? This is what BeoPlayer is for the PC, after all.. . If I'm wrong, they should call it another name I think.

This thread should be renamed "BeoSound 5 Encore tech specs", don't you think? I hope B&O will learn from the past & offer improvements on the Encore such as: - gapless playback in NMUSIC mode (otherwise I'll keep my BeoPort with BMLink) - Apple Lossless playback (if all Ipod docks can do it, sure B&O can do it..?) - full

I think BM5 should not even exist anymore! B&O should simply fit its BeoVisions and BeoSounds with a USB input to which you can connect any storage device (USB key or big hard drive), that will scan audio files for the BeoSound, and video files for the BeoVision; and if you have an existing network, why not also fit the master product with an Ethernet

I was about to buy a BV10-46 but eventually went for another brand, because of the lack of PC integration (which goes for all BeoVisions unfortunately). My new TV has an Ethernet socket that goes straight to my computer and plays all my music/photos/videos on it without any external box. When B&O offers this, I might reconsider & buy a BV10

Indeed the Loewe TV has an adaptor to output 5.1 sound to BeoLabs with phono plugs (I use BeoLab 3s front/rear with the Powerlink-phono adaptor). The biggest concern for me was Beo4 use, but with the Lintronic converter it is pure delight. Now with the money saved, I'll probably buy a BeoLab 11 to replace the B&W subwoofer hidden under the bed

I caught the BeoVirus more than 20 years ago, and first bought audio products until I had enough money to buy my first BeoVision, a white MX 6000 with a BeoCord VX 7000, all on a motor stand. Later it was replaced with an Avant 32 VTR when B&O went widescreen, then came BV3-32 when flat screens came out, then a Beocenter 1 for the guest room, then

I also bought a pair of BeoLab 4 PC instead of the Powerlink version, because they are easier to connect to any non B&O product, and also because of the lower price. I used them as rears with Powerlink adapters and they performed well (in 5.1 setup). Now they are at the office as proper PC speakers and everybody wants a pair!

I saw 2 mistakes in the product specs & advised B&O already: - BL 8002 is given the same dimensions & weight as the 6002 - BL 8002 is said to go down to 48 Hz, while BL 6002 goes down to... 46 Hz? Did someone smoke during the acoustic tests??
