Good point! However, for anyone reading doesn't have a Beolab 2, but wants to add numerous Beolab 3 or Beolab 8000 speakers together (both of these have only one Powerlink socket fitted), you can use a "Y" adapter to give an extra socket. Yes, the B&O version is too short for tidiness in many situations, but these can be found in longer

If you were going to all that trouble to chop the case up, it would make sense to shift the drivers around into a d'Appolito configuration (with the tweeter in the middle and the woofers on either side) and move them to the centre of the tube. However, I suspect that the effectiveness ofthe 8000 as a centre speaker would be limited, especially considering

Hi bissus, Welcome to the forum. This is a nice easy one and you probably won't even need your ML Convertor! Nearly all Sony TV's now have audio line output sockets on the back of the panel. Just connect these to the Aux socket on your Beosound 3200 and select "Aux" to hear the TV through your Beolab 4000's. If you need any help

Hi Paul, I'm guessing from your previous posts that you have been "bitten by the B&O bug" in the way that many of us here have been. The design of their flagship products is a great lure for many people, but the ownership experience can be quite a challenging one. In the same way that owners of classic cars often seem to have a love

Hi beoinbuff, Yes, I would agree with going digital all the way from Sonos to Beolab 5, I think the Sonos gives a compatible S/PDIF output. You can use Powerlink and digital inputs together with Beolab 5, just remember to add a Sync cable between the speakers and use your Beo4/5 remote control for the volume if using a non-B&O source. Best regards

KingOfSnake: I'll go for Beosound 9000 looks, Blu Ray/DVD/CD drive, Hard Drive to store audio (perhaps external if it would spoil the slim lines of the BS9000), DAB/FM Radio, Touchscreen interface displaying album covers/Information with DVI output for external monitor display. Spot on! Give me a Beosound 9000 that will play DVDs and Blu-Ray discs

Hi Guys, Sorry to arrive at this post so late in the discussion - I see my name has been mentioned already and I think I have some (hopefully) helpful advice to add.... The top models in the Onkyo range of AV processors/receiver all have RCA pre-out sockets (including the model mentioned above), which make them excellent partners to (almost) all Beolab

I like the look of the light controller - any chance of a UK version? Steve.

Hi, If you do feel the need to remove the grilles (ie. if the shiny light shows up a problem inside), the best way to proceed is by hand, ie. no tools. Screwdrivers can easily damage the gold trim or the grille fabric. Start with the top of the lower grille, as this is the easiest to remove. Gently pull outwards from the back edges of the grille and

Hi Gents, Just to emphasise Keith's comments, earthing and equi-potential bonding is a very complex subject and short circuits to mains earth should not be added from electrical equipment or cabling without taking professional advice (ideally from someone with suitable insurance cover who has physically seen the equipment installation). I have seen
