  • CAT 6 STP.....used for other speaker runs...

One last question on this subject.... I've got to make some runs in the wall for some Powered Subs....they take RCA off the other equipment... Can I run CAT 6 STP for the RCA...???? It would make sense that yes....but would this work..??? Thanks, K

  • Re: Bi-amping (sorta)?

I don't think i've ever seen those amps on Ebay....has anyone else/??? I did see a set of beat up Pentas though that the amps worked on... As I look at the penta...I think you could take off the top cap and the speaker and be left with the Mono amp....kind of a waste..but these pentas went for $300 usd...they were in horrible shape and perfect

  • Re: bc 9500 amp not enough power ?

No problem....the Powerlinks are attenuated....so run those into the standard amp (RCA's)... not an integrated amp.....so it takes the signal right off the 9500....becomes a monster...got my M60 for $170 off Ebay....if you want to really make it pound look for a M80 or M85 Yamaha...and it's an earthquake at 270 RMS super clean per channel..

Hi Guy, I'm very familiar with Bi-amping in certain situations. Biamping , coming before separate powered subs. Was so that you could drive the higher end with a smaller amp and the lower end with a separate large amp. Usually the low end of these are very power hungry and especiallyl with Pan's.... There are stragetys that allow you to drive

Hi k1ngad, I've got a 9500 also...and I love them...but underpowered...here's what i did in a similar situation...and it works beautifully.... Get a DIN to RCA converter and take one of your Powerlink out's to a closet (hidden area)...then run them to inputs to a very clean, powerful amp..(I used a Yamaha M60). Then power 3 sets of speakers
