  • Re: What does ******* mean?

TO: Britops, Tom, Puncher, Jandyt, Dillen, Christian & Medogsfat Sorry, mates [and moderators]! Blame it on my lack of technical know-how. I tried to delete the earlier post quotes, leaving only Medogsfat's post to which I wanted to reply. However, I continuously received a warning that my reply could not be posted as there was something wrong

  • Re: Alex aka KillyP

Thanks, SAF!! Unfortunately, students here only want to memorize answers for the examinations. They expect to be given the lecture notes [in part because they are too lazy or ill-equipped to take their own notes] in order to memorize the main points. Frequently I have been asked for my notes and/or for the "answer" to a scenario, with the

jandyt: I'm half Russian and half Innuit and half something else and I can confirm that OK stands for Äèñïëåé ðàçìåùàåòñÿ Andy T. Wow! Three halves. Does that means you can give more than 110% of yourself?

Puncher: when he comes back he will now be officially educated Unfortunately, being officially educated does not mean a thing. [Sorry, Alex -- not necessarily directed at you.] For example my "friend": dual degree from NZ uni. Law degree from Hong Kong uni. Masters in law from US univ. Several diplomas from PRC uni's. At a practice job

  • Re: abbreviations

Hi, Jay. Concerning serial numbers/production dates, try doing a search for "serial number" for your specific item. As I don't know what particular B&O item, I have found two general threads on this topic, one relating to the BC9500 and what appears to be a more general thread at http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/post/3762.aspx I seem

  • Re: For sale and wanted sections of beoworld.

If I understand correctly, one purpose is to encourage members to sign up for the silver or gold memberships in order to provide financial support to the site. • Re: BeoSound 6 first picture and details

Alex: I'll buy one! By the way everyone's reacting, it may just end up being one of those kinda rare collectors items (a la BeoLink 7000 Wall Bracket & Floor Stands) that people pass up and then a decade later pay more than they would have paid new for one. There is a wall bracket for the Beolink 7000?

  • Re: MX television: How to remove the screen

Medogsfat: Wings: Thanks, Peter. Me and technical stuff is like fire and gasoline: things get blown apart and near impossible to put back together -- regardless of a service manual. Just send me the plane tickets Wings and I'll pop along and do it for you for the cost of beer & board for a fortnight Chris. Oy, mate! I fear your reputation for
