  • Re: Forum acts surprisingly!

Now I see that I have [Edit tags] button at the end of my post (first on the thread). Then I can type text myself or select from a list, which do have some quite interesting choises... On the first page of the forums (list of the areas) there is a tag list on the right, the idea seems that the threads have a tag indicating it's main point, and then

  • Forum acts surprisingly!

I just came across this thread . If you look at the first post: What is going on?! If you click the link you get "Browse Site by Tags" where you can find fe. this post with even more incredible tag. Not exatcly a fault nor causing me any trouble but I just wonder how did that happen...

The first part was great fun; guessing the product from the letters was very difficult. I was almost ready to give up but then I got it... (I hope!) ... and just in time. I hope we see more this kind of competitions in the future. Good luck to all!

  • Re: BG8002 - electronic troubles

Capacitor-kit from Martin is on it's way! I will clean the rest of the deck before that and check the board for bad solderings etc.

Hi chartz, glad to hear the BG-CD is still working. I will replace the caps and check the board. The connectors did feel a bit tight and no wonder if the connector-solderings would get loose. I don't feel too sure about the flat-cables to the CPU-box either, they are very loose. The transformer design is interesting, you can swap it easily, surely

  • Re: LC1 not working...

I would like to hear if there is somebody familiar with these LC1 units. Some months ago I got two (in a bag filled with B&O link cables and connectors!). Both of them were completely dead. I replaced the fuse in both (they were both blown) and one of them works completely, the other one works on/off by the touch-plate but it doesn't respond

I almost guessed it would be the cap-kit recommendation! Martin, I will PM you later about that. The left arrow is not lit when the carriage moves, it just lights up for a second or two in certain situations (randomly pushing the buttons to try stopping it!) I have to take the whole deck almost completely apart as it's very dirty. There is even

  • BG8002 - electronic troubles

Hello all. I was given a free Beogram 8002 today. (Without a cartridge, I have an SMMC4 on BG9000 for testing if needed). The 8002 is not in a very good condition externally but nothing too serious, just some scratched here and there and all double-sided tapes loosened. Bigger problems are in the electronics. I have plugged it to mains and it goes like
