Generally, I think the speakers should be in a height so that the treble units are in the same height as your ears when listening (sitting in a couch most often). I have wall-mounted Beovox 5000 panels, and the treble units are in the exact same height as my ears when i am sitting in the sofa, they sound differently when i am standing up. This may explain

Ok, thanks. I suppose the easiest way of connecting then is cutting off a plug with some wire, and then wrapping the right wires round the banana plugs. Just have to figure out which wires goes to what part of the normal stereo headphone plug. Thanks Christian

Hi there I know this is a bit off topic, but i stumbled over some vintage headphones from Germany (all it says on the phones are 2000 ohm, Germany). They got 2 plugs, one red, the other black. Is it possible to use these headphones? Should they be connected to the amplified speaker output from a Beomaster of some sort? I got several, but can i risk

Hi there I am thinking about getting a cabinet 2168 for the DVD-player ect. But how big is it? Can it store a 43 cm wide DVD-player (a panasonic)? Is the room underneath the drawer just one big room? that could be handy for storing dvds and so on. best regards Christian

lausvi: The slow running would be even a relatively easy fix - inside there is a potentiometer to adjust the speed! I had a slight tragedy with a Beocenter 9000 just an hour ago (short-circuit during repair) and I am feeling so depressed that the BC5000 guide will have to wait... :( Ok, sorry to hear about that. Peter : You clearly frequent a better class of flea market than me! £150 is a heck of a lot for a BC5000! £1.50 for a non working one would be more like it! These are not easy machines to service! This is the one device that my old dealer (Windows of the Arcade) refused to service for me. they said that even if there is only one problem

The tape-counter is mostly not working, however, i have one time seen it rotate the digits, not not always. So all in all, replacing all the belts and fixing the Button for Dolby on/off would bring the Beocord back to life. There are some disassmebley instructions on the bottom of the recorder, but your instrucsions is much appreciated. Br Christian
