Based on the response I received, clearly there is a requirement for everyone to understand how to manually add macros to a 3rd party or any other type of XML file. I have created a technical web page on the subject in the form of a mini training session which you can view HERE If the macro issue is not resolved by B&O in the next release of the

Dominic, Has this problem ALWAYS existed or is it a fault which suddenly occurred ?

Peter, When you have pressed the " High/Low " button as shown in the previous posting, highlight with your mouse the WHOLE list in the " Code Length " windows, then RIGHT click and left click COPY . The whole highlighted list is now on the "Clipboard". Come to this forum and right click in your reply message window and

Very Good Peter, The term "Manchester" defines the protocol encoding method This is exactly what I am looking for, but you need to post the complete timing string and not just the first 4 pulses.
Keith, could you explain a little bit more how to make the 3rd party macros possible? P.S.: Do you work secretly for software companies like Microsoft etc.? You seem to be a real genius.
Thank you for your very kind comments, genius, well no, fairly experienced, I guess so.. It sounds like we need an "XML Macros"

The box is made by Sagem, and the code is captured from the original remote with a pronto remote.
If you get a "TrimCodestring" error it means one of your text values is to long

Peter, These are NOT the codes you need and it is no problem that the Lintronic box did not decode your IR capture which is what "FAILED" means. When you use "Code Learn" and tick the box marked "Copy RemoteControl" on theCode Learn page Use your original remote to send an IR command and a new window will appear showing

You are correct within the Configuration Tool, its an area where the developers appear to still be having a lot of problems getting right. A couple of versions ago they almost got it right. However, the solution which I always use is to build the macro's into the 3rd party XML file, so that it is just drag-n-drop within the configuration tool. Doing

Peter, If you capture one or two commands with your Lintronic box and post them here, I will decode them for you. When you are in the "Code Learn" section of the Lintronic software, Capture a command and when the window appears with the pulse diagram, press the High/Low button and you will see something like the following, just copy it to
