The BeoSound 9000 had a red button, indicating that it was a mk I edition. Maybe this was a redecorated mk I, or maybe the main switch is returning? The red button is also visible on picture 89.

wonderfulelectric: What's so good about the Beosound 9000 that it should be kept in production? It fails to work every now and then because of some trapped dust and it takes kinda long for it to load its discs. Beosound 9000 isn't a practical design at all. I disagree completely. It seems that I might have been wrong, sorry. Just tried it, but without luck. I am however not completely convinced, and I find it strange that my BS9000 sometimes with burnt cds spin them at a much higher speed, as if it was a cd-rom...
