The Cona is a B&O product designed for a fairly specific use - the augmenting of bass response in small CX speakers. The platter and arm are both attached to a floating sub chassis - this is what bounces. this isolates the record from the enviroment and is the best mechanism to do this. I think this is the big question. Where do you go with the audio range when the movement is towards a cloud based system? The speakers are clearly a very good start but to sell a premium audio system is tricky - all you really need is a superb DAC and a control system. And with the BL5s, the DAC is not needed. Wonderful find - I must confess to hating the sticky labels put on the tuning scales though - a Beomaster 1700 tuner of mine had some on and theywere a pig to get off! The big question will be, which Beogram are you going to get to match the system and do you have the speakers?!
