  • Re: Beolink 7000 Compatibility

I would just get one for the collector value. There is nothing like it ever made EVER. What other remote rises up and has a motor in it? So cool. It is a work of engineering to marvel at.

[quote user="Peter "] You can use a Beolink 7000 with any product that uses a Beolink 1000 or Beo4. It is however very clunky to use in one way mode so I would not recommend it. It works very well with the 6500 system, 7000 system, 4500 system and 9500 systems. If you don't have one of these, it is going to be a disappointment. [/quote

  • Re: 3D & B&O TV'S

Beojeff, Here is a link on the HDMI issue if one cares: http://dvice.com/archives/2009/12/no-new-blu-ray.php Agree with Trip, however, that 3D is junk. Who wants 10 pairs of battery-powered glasses kicking around...

  • Re: 3D & B&O TV'S

First, almost every manufacturer in addition to Sony is producing 3D TVs, with Samsung already on the market for sale. Second, you need HDMI 1.4 and B&O doesn't even have HDMI 1.3 so don't plan on an upgrade to 3D for your B&O TV.

  • Re: BeoWorld gamers?

I will agree with mbee on Little Big Planet. This is the best game I have ever played on a console. I grew up back in the Atari 2600 days...and am amazed at how far we have come here. This game totally rocks. I have 5 kids and they love this game. They all thought they wanted a Wii (we have one of those too) but they keep coming back to Little Big Planet

  • Re: current TVs compatible with BeoSystem 1

Beojeff, Thanks for the update. I haven't pursued getting the flasher like we talked about as I have been very busy with a new baby at home and no time to even watch TV! I was, however, looking at the Harmony 1100 remote that has codes to control just about anything including B&O stuff and a PS3 with an additional adapter. I know people have
