You may also have an issue with the trimmers that regulae the voltage. In order to really perform a proper refurb you will need the service manual. All the instructions for electrical and mechanical adjustments can be found there. BTW - You have one of the best sets B&O ever made. get a pair of S-75 or M-75 to round it out.

I used solen to recap a set of RL60's. Barely fit. i was concerned I would not be able to get the back speaker housing to mount back on they took up so much space. Here is a cross I did last summer for a set of S-80.2. Again barely fits the board with clearance becoming a big concern. But it did fit. Barely.

A ' eureka ! ' moment for me. Thanks Olly and good work. Fugicon caps explode when mounted backwards. Made a hell of a mess inside and didint find the casing until Sunday. It was blown straight up and must have ricochetted off the cieling and into the closet behind the work table. amazingly the Beomaster never lost power and was actually still
