Like you Fredrik, I like the 8000's very much, especially the design. In my opinion the BL2 is a bit boomy for listening to music, but great in a surround sound setup. The BL 5 or 9's have better performace, though. The big question is: Would more of the same sound better than the BL 5 or 9's. Probably not. But I am curious.

My big question: will this run on diesel or petrol?

Design wise both the 8000’s and 6000’s are beautiful speakers. The 8000's draw more attention, while the 6000's can be almost invisible if you choose the silver colour. I never liked different colours for these speakers anyway. Both speakers are reasonable performers, but the 8000 easily has the best sound quality. I love the 8000's

Great article that shows the strengths and weaknesses in B&O strategy. Very much worth reading. B&O needs to catch up soon.

I believe the Beosound 6 is based on the same hardware as the Samsung mentioned here. Difference is that B&O is supposed to have developed an algorithm that enhances the sound. Samsung uses its own algorithm. I am not completely sure, so can anyone confirm or correct?
