I think the clip thing is so it won't come out easily. Handy in a TV that moves back and fore every time you switch it on/off.

Graham, mine just says V Tape, without the 1. If you are getting sound, you must be on the right source, have you shoved the scart lead in firmly, both on the VCR end and the TV end?

Brilliant thread Martin! Clever idea to have the mains plug integrated with the rear cover. Stops you accidentally meddling with a live wireless. I wonder if the bulb exists in a non B&O environment, or was made specifically for this Beolit.
