Worth polling but I too agree with Peter & Graham. You will probably get a load of encouragement (it would be handy to have someone supplying these) but very few sales in the short term. Personally I'd buy one and that would be it until such a time as I wanted another - maybe in 5/10 years time?? Chris.

It will depend on the cartridge you get Guy. They all differ re: tracking force but here's a quick guide. MMC5 = 1.5 g MMC4 & MMC3 = 1.2g MMC2 & MMC1 = 1.0g. There is a sliding scale on the side of the tonearm which you simply set at the recommended force. If you don't already have a cartridge then don't be tempted by a used one
