  • Re: The essentials!

Beosystem 7000, Penta's & BL7000. Gotta have the turntable as well though. I have had mine for some time now and wouldn't swap it for ANY current music system. Beolink 1000 has to be the most essential piece of kit though. Very easy to use, bullet proof and controls just about everything B&O have produced in recent years. Chris.

You need speaker link connections/leads which plug into the 4 pin holes on speakers 1 I believe. Penta II's have both powerlink & speakerlink inputs. Graham (joeyboygolf) will be able to give you advice with the CD compartment as he has a lot of experience with these units. Chris.

Pretty straightforward. I see you've already gained access which is the most difficult part! (as you've noticed it's slack) - so yeah just pull it off and stick another one on. There are no tensioners or anything else daft to worry about. Chris.

I personally cannot remember any really positive comments posted about dealers in your part of the world - quite the opposite whch I find both sad and disconcerting. My recent experiences are that (for the most part) the UK dealers have recognised that

Hi cakeisnice & welcome to Beoworld hopefully it's just the belt (a real possibilty) but these are ageing machines and there are a number of components which could be responsible. I would change the belt 1st - member Dillen (Martin) may be able to supply you with one and is something you should do anyway with a vintage deck. Once this is done

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

j0hnbarker: Ps - what's your favourite Morrissey track? Mine is 'Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself' from 'Vauxhall and I' - the best ever! Heyup John, taken me a good while to decide this (a week!) and after much wailing & gnashing of teeth I've decided that "BIg Mouth Strikes Again" is my favourite Morrissey
