With no speakers attached the 9000 reverts to option 0. Reset to option 2 and it will work. Every time you switch the 9000 off it will revert to option 0 so you will have to reset to 2 again. It's no good just plugging the PL cable in to try and fool it, it has to have speakers connected.

The packaging is enormous and the set is strapped to a pallet within it. I doubt if it would go in any estate car, E class or otherwise. It certainly wouldn't go in my discovery with the seats down.

I have transported 32 Avants a couple of times flat on their faces with no damage although my heart was in my mouth all the time. Couldn't stand the stress nowadays so I hire a transit van for £45 a day and stand them up. Much safer as long as you strap them well!

I have been listening to these same arguements for 30-40 years. Give it another 30-40 years and the same arguements will still be trotted out. Money and market share is power and Bill Gates has both I'm afraid.

I didn't think it did. I remember having a LCS9000 that would not show the clock.

Keith Saunders: Provided the clock has been setup it should supply it to the slave devices on a polling basis. . Is this true with all issues of the software, Keith?
